As a lifetime Pet Owner (dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, and probably too many too keep listing), I have always naturally raised my hand any time a friend or family member needs help watching or walking their pets. When my girlfriend and I moved to Nashville in 2019, I started selling Real Estate and taking every free opportunity to watch, pet sit, or walk any family, friends, or fellow co-workers dogs when they were out of town or too busy to make it home. As the housing market has slowed down the past 12 months, my true passion of caring for animals has quickly picked up and taken off. With a steady network of fellow pet owners needing help caring for their pets, I decided I needed to truly chase my passion of caring for animals and start my own dog walking, and pet house call business. From that passion, BOOTS ON A LEASH was officially established. The name seemed fitting for a dog walking business in Nashville.
